What’s In An Experience?

Everything is. You are trying to differentiate yourself.

This week’s quote is a perfect way to end a week of serious shifting.

As Susan shared with us on Monday, if all you focus on are the tricks you can get an elephant to do, you will eventually lose out to the guy down the street who is figuring out how to transform your reality with a circus show that will blow your mind. Then on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dennis shared with us examples of where you can only push goods and services so far before you eventually hit a glass ceiling.

Back to the quote. So, if you are just focused on delivering goods and services, then everyone will eventually look the same as we all push up against the glass ceiling. In order to break through, you need to progress your economic value in the market by offering experiences. Experiences are the ultimate way to differentiate yourself from competitors.
