“If you are not willing to risk the usual, you will have to settle for the ordinary.” – Jim Rohn

Nothing like an all-time classic to ponder during the dog days of summer. Dennis and I are big fans of living a life LESS ordinary. Leave the ordinary for everyone else.

You have one shot at this whole game. You can choose to live the same day or year over and over again like something out of Groundhog Day or you can get some Serious Shift on and expand your horizons. I recommend the later. Why not? It sounds way more interesting. I remember taking the Dale Carnegie course back in the day and was astounded at the power of thinking larger. The way it was put to us is that you are a shark and the difference between swimming in a gold fish bowl, lake or ocean was the choice to expand your comfort zone. Metaphorically, the ocean is a deep dark place with untold uncertainty. However, at the same time it is beautiful and full of adventure and teeming with life.

If you are interested in taking a look at what a life LESS ordinary might be like for you, take some time this summer and read Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich. Who knows what you will find? Some Serious Shift could be just around your next corner.

Continued success, TF.
