I had four conversations over the last two weeks with different advisors who all confessed the same sin. They overlooked how happy they were, and they complicated their lives by adding MORE. More obligation, more clients. And while they also added more revenue, they also added more expenses. They got more of everything but happiness.

More forgiveness, less blame
More nature, less pavement
More making stuff, less consuming stuff
More shorts, less neckties
More grass, less cement

More singing, less sighing.
