So to summarize:

  1. Take a break. Productivity isn’t measured by how long you are willing to sit at a desk and work. It’s measured by how much you can create and get done without flaming out. How many more studies and reports do you need to read before you will allow yourself to catch your breath?
  2. Focus on the things you do best that matter the most to your business. When I’m not speaking, I talk on the phone, send emails, and write stuff. My office is designed for me to succeed at those tasks and I delegate everything else. Social media will steal your day away.
  3. Go for a walk every night and listen to a podcast or a Ted Talk. Don’t listen to music. Listen to a thought instead, and then have a few of your own. It’s good for you.
