Blogcast 88: You Are Here

Today’s question: Are you afraid of starting over?

To read my written blog on this topic, click on the title: You Are Here.

Check out the video below:

So to summarize:

  1. I would have reshot this, but my daughter Mia made a cameo and I didn’t want to deny you a chance to see her little face.
  2. When you have to, start over. Go back to the last place you felt totally in control, or at least not lost and start again.
  3. Nobody wants to start again, but as far as places go, “the last place you were in control” is underrated.

Mia is keeping us all young. Even her sister and I love that I’m pushing 50 and I still have a 7 year old who climbs into my bed in the middle of the night.

Great Dennis! Enjoy the little one.

Parenting … The perfect example of sometimes screwing up, or getting lost, or being unsure. You pause. Go back to the last place you were in control, and pick up the trail there.

Nice visit, it confirms who you are! Spend time with your most valuable fans.

I’m leaving work right now to go pick her up at school – unexpected. I am trending really well in the 7-12 year old demographic.
