The next great new client you meet, what will be the reason that they met you?
Did they meet you by chance? Did they meet you through someone else, and if so, what is the reason you were all going to be in the same place? Did they want to meet you because of something they heard? Then what would they have heard? Did they meet you because you’re pretty good or pretty amazing? Did they meet you because you’re good at what you do? Or was it because how you do what you do is unique and memorable?
I suppose you could disregard all of this and just keep prospecting. Throw enough mud at the wall and all of that.
However, it’s a lot more fun to go out and be yourself and stand for something and give people a reason to hear about you.
