To Boldly Go

“Be confident, not certain.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

With confidence, we meet our future. With certainty, we gamble on it because nothing is certain. But that doesn’t mean we can’t feel confident that it might be!

If we were able to remember back far enough, our first awkward crawl across the floor or baby step would probably have taken place with more bravery and desire than any thought it was going to be a success. What we felt was confidence in our vision of success; everything that came after was a roll of the dice. And yet, despite the lack of certainty, nothing could prevent us from picking ourselves up and trying again. That’s moxie. That’s confidence.

Every once in a while, we must remind ourselves to take back our confidence, the one we came into the world with.

Seriously, reshift, and have a great weekend.
